Where the wild things exist

a mother i don't know
told her daughter to save
room
in her world
for the
untamed
things

and

there is no
thing
as wild
and reckless
as love

(i don't think)

but some people
are
afraid

and weed them
out

i have

(i think)

is my heart
ALIVE
enough
to hold all the
tame, calm creatures
as well as
the wild that exists
in darker forests,
higher mountains,
eery oceans,
and vaster plains
than i'll
ever
know?

to love a wild thing
is a secret
inside

linking for the first time in a long time with emily and a whole wild community of imperfection

I love the way you flow, the determination to hold both tame and wild within.
"a mother i don't know
told her daughter to save
room
in her world
for the
untamed
things"

love, love, love this - its written down and I'm carrying with me.

I've missed your voice. This little poem kind of took me to Breakfast at Tiffany's, which I love.

Misty, this was BEAUTIFUL! I'm so glad Emily and friends chose to feature this piece. "there is no thing as wild and reckless as love" ... such a powerful line. May we all save space in our worlds for those untamed things like love. Thanks for your words, Misty, and your courage to share them!

With havin ѕο much wrіttеn contеnt do

My site has a lot of exclusive content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being ripped off? I'd truly apрreciate it.
